Pori is easily reached by public transportation.

Train is a convenient and ecological way to travel. The journey between Pori and Helsinki takes about three and a half hours and one and a half hours between Pori and Tampere. There is also an extra train connection from Helsinki to Pori via Tampere arranged for Saturday 24th of July.

Bus

Pori can be reached by bus as well. For example there are busses leaving every hour to and from Helsinki and good connections to and from Tampere, Turku and other major cities as well.

Airplane

Pori is easily accessible also by car. From Helsinki it takes about 3 hours to drive to Pori. The highways number 2, 8, 11 and 23 lead to Pori.

Pori is a compact city where it is easy to get around. Car can be parked outside the very centre of the city since everything essential can be reached by foot easily.

There's a huge parking lot next to the Kirjurinluoto Arena. The parking fee is 5 €/day (cash only). The parking place will be guarded during the concerts but overnight guarding will not be arranged. All the car traffic to and from Kirjurinluoto Arena will be directed via highway number 8 (Vaasa, Turku). The “Raumansilta” bridge that leads from Arena to the centre will be closed during the concerts. That may sound illogical but when driving from Arena to the railway station for example, it takes about 10 to 15 minutes through the highway number 8, while driving through the centre it would take more than 30 minutes. One doesn’t have to be afraid of getting lost - the road signs and our helpful staff will be taking care of that. To find your way there with the help of a navigator, type in the address: Länsitie 425 Pori (or Länsitie 160 Pori). Please note: the Taxis are allowed to drive to and form the gate of Kirjurinluoto Arena through the “Raumansilta” bridge.
