46th Pori Jazz festival reached the target; altogether 57 000 tickets were sold. The largest audience was seen in Kirjurinluoto Arena. On Thursday there were 15 000 ticket buyers, 9 000 on Friday, 21 500 on Saturday and 2 000 on Sunday. There were several sold out concerts in smaller jazz clubs during the week.

During the festival there were over 100 concerts, of which more than 50 admission free.

Also entirely admission free Pori Jazz Kids Festival in the beginning of the jazz week was successful and reached the new record with more than 25 000 visitors.

- The jazz festival was successful. Concerts in Kirjurinluoto were well-balanced, says Katja Leppäkoski, the managing director of Pori Jazz.

The 47th Pori Jazz Festival will be held 14-22 July 2012.
